At San Fran airport

 Almost home! Got through the Houston airport and currently at San Fran for layover. Here’s a photo of the chaperones from Santiago on Monday.

It’s 430am, arrived very early via night bus to catch our 7am flight. Continue to pray for us as we make this final stretch. Enjoy these assorted pictures of our Monday morning boat ride to Santiago across Lake Atitlan. 

Day 10 - Debrief Day

 Had an amazing time on a boat ride to a neighbouring town, Santiago. More importantly, we had a meaningful time of debrief where students shared what they learned and what was most impactful. Now starting out the night bus journey to catch our early morning flight. Will continue to update via the blog of our flight status. For now enjoy this incredible picture by Wally.

Day 9 - Panajachel

Arrived safely at Porta del Lago hotel in Panajachel by Lake Atitlan. Started our debrief sessions. The end of the trip is near! 

Day 8 - Exploring the Farm

 Morning tour of the farm

Going on a truck ride to get choco-bananas from town, but an incoming heavy tropical rainstorm derailed our plans. Nevertheless, the students made the most of a rainy afternoon.

Day 7 - Getting to the farm in Colomba

We made it to Tony’s farm in rural Colomba. Bus ride took way longer than expected due to traffic, but we made it in time to swim in their pool and dinner. Farm tour tomorrow!
